July’s Bellabox was an absolute ripper. So many things, they didn’t even fit into the box! July marked a departure from the signature, instead having a cute zip-up pouch.
The first stand out for me was the full size Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle deep wrinkle eye cream. While I don’t have eye wrinkles at the moment, I’m very interested in its retinol based formula.
There was also a full sized tube of Shady Lady Daily Face Milk from a new brand, You, Me & Everybody. This sinks into the skin very quickly. There is a bit of a sunscreen smell, but it’s not overpowering.
There were also a few samples – Givenchy for men (didn’t try this one) and two hair masks from Elgon, an Italian company.
Another full size product was Almay’s Get Up & Grow mascara. Sadly no prostaglandin analogues present (well, that would be illegal without a prescription) for lash growth but pro-vitamins galore. The Carmex lip balm was the standout for me – a slim tube for the handbag, with a hint or vanilla and menthol that gives nice shine.
Finally, we reach the depths of the box to find a full size nail polish by Ulta 3 in Mulberry (pretty good wear), a sample of Neutrogena Deep Clean and Palmer’s Night Renewal Cream with retinol and shea butter. (Lucky I’ve got the sunscreen with all this retinol!)
I was really pleased with this month’s Bellabox – definitely the winner this month for me. How did your beauty boxes compare?
