Mailbox Monday 7/3/11

Hello Mailbox Monday! This is hosted in March by Laura at I’m Booking It – don’t forget to visit!

I was lucky to receive two books in my letterbox recently.

First, I won a copy of the latest Thursday Next novel from Borders. I honestly wasn’t expecting this after the recent troubles in Australia, but thanks Borders! I will enjoy One of Our Thursdays is Missing by Jasper Fforde.

The kind Rosy Thornton also sent me a copy of her novel, The Tapestry of Love to review all the way from the UK. I was pleased to see that Penny Vincenzi (one of my favourite authors) enjoys Rosy’s work, so I’m sure I’ll like this one. Thank you Rosy!

(Excuse the photo quality, it was again very hot when I took these).

Did you receive any books in the mail this week?

  1. I read the Rosy Thornton book (also sent to me by the author all the way to Sri Lanka) and it was wonderful. The other book you have is also getting very positive reviews.

I enjoy reading your comments! Thanks for stopping by.
