Happy Easter everyone! As I’ve got a couple of days off, I thought I’d relax and join this week’s Hop. This week’s question comes from Christina who blogs at The Paperback Princesses.
“If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?”
Absolutely! I’ve read many great books this way – such as Michael Palin’s diaries. It makes my TBR lists even longer though! If I’ve enjoyed one book by an author and I find a second that looks interesting, I’ll read it.
Some of my favourite authors who I’ll buy sight unseen are: Penny Vincenzi, Michael Palin, Monica McInerney, Minette Walters, Ciara Geraghty and Richard Yates.
What about you?
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by the blog! I agree that finding a great author definitely increases the TBR pile.
Hopping by and notice that I have two of the books in your blog title picture on my TBR (I read The Outcast too but didn’t really enjoy it).
Hi
Just hopping by and following through. I tend to get a bit obsessed when I find an author I like

Absolutely if I have really enjoyed one book by an author I am right away looking to see what else they have written.
I always hunt for more books by an author I’ve enjoyed.
Hope you have a beautiful Easter weekend.
Hi, there. I’m hopping as well. And yes, I definitely seek out other books by authors I enjoy. I tend to sort of hoard them as well! I’ve done this with Minette Walters — read a few and bought up others for a rainy day!
Hopping through. I completely agree with you and am now following you!
Have a great weekend!
I like the fact that your list of authors is a mixed bag. I know finding a new author increases my tbr list too although I am trying to be good just now.
I find it very hard to categorise my reading – I guess I’m just influenced by too many books! My TBR list is huge, I wish I could be good too.
