Literary Giveaway Blog Hop 22-26/6/13

Thank you everyone, this giveaway is now closed. Please check Thursday 27th June posts for the winner. Good luck!

Yes, it’s giveaway time again! June is Sam Still Reading’s third birthday and I’d like to share the love by participating in the blog hop. The lovely Leeswammes has organised another great hop, with over 40 blogs offering bookish giveaways.

This time, I’m giving away a brand new copy of one of my favourite reads for the first half of the year. Not all of my favourites are by writers called Kate (or Australian writers), but I hope there’s something to interest everyone! The lucky winner will get to choose from one of the following (click on the picture to read my review):

How to enter:

  1. Leave me a comment telling me which book you’d like to win (you can change your mind later). If you’d like to recommend me a book or tell me something bookish, that’s quite okay too! Make sure you leave me an email address too so I can contact you if you win.
  2. You don’t have to be a follower, but if you like my blog, I hope you’ll follow me somehow (see sidebar links if interested).
  3. To win, you need to have an address that The Book Depository will deliver to. Unsure? Check here.
  4. The prize is one of the four books above, which will be delivered by The Book Depository.
  5. One entry per person please.
  6. Entries close on June 26th 2013 at 11:59pm GMT.
  7. I will draw the winner using random.org and contact them via email. If they don’t respond in 5 days, I will draw another winner.

Good luck and have fun! Don’t forget to visit the other blogs below:

  1. Thanks for the giveaway! I’m taking part too so I hope you’ll visit when my post is up in a few hours if you get chance and see if any of the books take your fancy πŸ™‚ I’d love to read My Notorious Life… I’ve already read and really enjoyed both Bitter Greens and The Rosie Project – great choices.

  2. Thank you so much for this giveaway ! I Love it!
I would choose The Rosie Project ! πŸ˜‰

  3. Thanks for the GA. I just found your blog from another GA, and I’m so excited. I would love to read Bitter Greens πŸ™‚

  4. I do love these giveaways. My choice would be The Rosie Project as I have heard so much about it but have not yet read it.
Have you read “Extremes” by Dr Kevin Fong. I was lucky enough to win it and am finding it a very enjoyable read. I agree with so much he says about life.

  5. I’d love to win The Rosie Project – it was last month’s Waterstones choice and the reviews have been amazing! Something bookish… I’ve culled hundreds of books recently in preparation for moving house, yet still went out with two fellow book bloggers on Tuesday and came home with ten more. I think it’s a sickness. πŸ˜€
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. Thank you for the giveaway πŸ™‚ I would love to win My Notorious Life, it seems intriguing. As for bookish recommendations, I am reading my second Pamuk, “Snow” and it is as good as The Museum of Innocence, which I read last year…

  7. You have some great options that are making it hard to choose, but I think I’d have to go with The Rosie Project (which looks like a popular choice!). I just finished reading The Humans by Matt Haig and thought it was hilariously wonderful. Email: rivercityreading at gmail dot com

  8. I’d love to win The Rosie Project- you had me at genetics!

I’m reading Salman Rushdie’s memoir, Joseph Anton, and it is a very compelling read.

  20. Difficult choice! I enjoyed your reviews and they each sound promising. That said, the opportunity, presented in Kate Forsyth’s Bitter Greens, to delve into Louis XIV’s France has the most appeal. Thank you for the opportunity!

  21. I was going to say I would want to win Bitter Greens (the only one I had heard of before today!) because the cover of The Rosie Project didn’t appeal to me, but all the commenters who chose it changed my mind!

  22. What a choice! I think if I was lucky enough to win I’d have to go with The Rosie Project. I’ve heard some really great things about that one. Thanks for taking part in the Hop again!

  23. I’d like to be counted in for The Beauty Chorus. I’ve read the Madame X and Bitter Greens books and liked them both so very much. Two such contrasting reads. Thank you for sharing.

  24. Lol, The Rosie Project sounds too cute!!!! I appreciate that you did reviews on each one first—helped me make up my mind;)

I always suggest The Dolphin People by Torsten Krol or The White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean; both are excellent books that seem to be lesser-known.

  27. I would love to read The Rosie Project, it sounds like an amazing read. Thank you so much!
