Good morning! This week I’m looking forward to a couple of days break before the holiday season kicks off. Hopefully I’ll be able to sneak in some reading in the middle of it all.
I received a gorgeous copy (the picture below doesn’t do it justice) of All These Perfect Strangers by Aoife Clifford (released March 2016). It’s about Pen Sheppard, who escapes to university to find a whole new world of opportunity. But then three deaths occurs and she’s involved in all of them. As secrets are revealed, deadly consequences occur. Thanks to Simon and Schuster for this, I’m really looking forward to it.
I also continue with my Dymocks haul, part 2. I really liked the cover of Love and Miss Communication by Elyssa Friedland. The main character in the novel is Evie, who is fed up with the online world, so she trades in her smartphone for the real world. She finds new directions, but also pitfalls too.
Before We Were Strangers by Renée Carlino
is about M, reminiscing about a college friend who could have been more. Then they are back in touch and M decides to ask the green-eyed Lovebird for a drink – how will it end?
Natalie Meg Evans’ The Milliner’s Secret in set in 1940s Paris. Cora has reinvented herself as Coralie de Lirac but when WWII arrives, love, friendship and freedom are in danger. How will Coralie survive?
