Giveaway: Australia Day by Melanie Cheng

You may have seen my review of Melanie Cheng’s collection of short stories, Australia Day last week. This is one of the shortlisted books for the Readings Prize for New Australian Fiction and if Australia Day is any indication, the books on the list are going to be jawdroppingly wonderful. Thanks to the kind people at Readings Books, I have one brand new copy that I’d like to give away to a lucky person in Australia.

It’s easy to enter, just comment below on this blog post by answering this question,

‘What’s your favourite thing about Australia?’

The Fine Print

Offensive comments will be deleted and ineligible to enter the competition.

Winner must live in Australia and provide a name and street address or post office box to receive their book.

Entries will close on 17th September 2017 at 11:59pm GMT +8.

The winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to reply with their name and street address otherwise another winner will be drawn.

The copy will be sent by myself without a tracking number. I am happy to provide a receipt to show I posted the book, however I am not responsible for lost books in the mail. Put your trust in the postie!

  1. I think that my favourite thing about Australia is the fact that I can just be me. I can think my thoughts, have my say, live my life. Yes, Australia gives me my freedom.

  2. My favourite thing about Australia is that as parents my husband and I were able to raise our children to be happy adults in a country that offers safety, opportunity and freedom.

  3. My favourite thing about Australia is the multiculturalism and diversity we have with a bubbling mix of all different cultures and ethnicities. This has led me to come across so many new and fascinating ideas and discussions with people of all walks of life… and also to a wide variety of food options!

I enjoy reading your comments! Thanks for stopping by.
