Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 4/6/18

I’m quite happy to leave last week behind as it was full of frustrations. Sometimes I really feel that common sense should be renamed ‘rare sense’.

I received one book in the mail which sounds great and bought two by authors I really enjoy:

Ghosted by Rosie Walsh (released 12th June, RRP $29.99) was a delightful surprise from Pan Macmillan. (You might also know Rosie as Lucy Robinson the author). It’s about a short term relationship that promises the world. It also promises a call from the airport, which never arrived. What happened? Surely something must have gone wrong or did he just neglect to tell you the truth? I’m really excited for this book!

The Secrets of Happiness by Lucy Diamond is about stepsisters Rachel and Becca. Over the years, they’ve lost touch – until the night Rachel doesn’t come home. Becca begins to find out that Rachel’s life wasn’t so perfect…and hers isn’t either…

Between Sisters by Kristin Hannah is also about sisters – Meghann and Claire. Bad choices from Meghann caused them to separate but as Claire prepares for her wedding, she also is trying to face Meghann again. With nothing in common, can they become a family?

If you want to look at other books received this week across the globe, drop by the Mailbox Monday blog for links to everyone’s mailbox goodies.

It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Book Date. Click on the pictures to read more about the books.
