Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 30/7/18

Busy week last week – didn’t even get to the shops for book browsing! I was lucky enough to receive books in the mail, so here they are:

The Honourable Thief by Meaghan Wilson Anastasios arrived thanks to Pan Macmillan. (It’s released tomorrow). It’s set in Turkey in 1955 as discredited archaeologist Benedict Hitchens is trying to recover from his greatest downfall. Trying to prove that Achilles was real found him entangled in the disappearance of Eris. Benedict has one last chance to prove himself and find out the truth about Eris, but it’s very risky…

The Girl on the Page by John Purcell (out in October) arrived from Harper Collins. Amy is a book editor who created the new Lee Child and now her job is to get literary author Helen Owen back on track. But Helen and her husband Malcolm open up questions for Amy. Questions that become a matter of life and death. Needless to say, I’m really looking forward to this!

If you want to look at other books received this week across the globe, drop by the Mailbox Monday blog for links to everyone’s mailbox goodies.

It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Book Date. Click on the pictures to read more about the books.
