Last week was great for parcels! (No time for shopping).

Close to Home by Janet Gover (available 3rd February) arrived from Harlequin. Alice loves her small town and wants to keep it exactly as is – until Lucienne and her grandson Simon come to town. There’s a chemistry between Simon and the new school teacher, but it’s a relationship between an acrobat and Alice’s great niece that divides the town.
Insatiable by Daisy Buchanan (available 9th February) came from Hachette. Violet’s life has not turned out how she planned. When Lottie offers her and job and entry into her life. Violet is besotted. But is it really what she wants?
You’ve Got to Be Kidding by Todd Alexander (also available 3rd February) arrived thanks to Harper Collins. Todd and Jeff feel they should be masters of country life now, but there is no way they could plan for nature’s fury. Hurdle after hurdle becomes wearisome, but they aren’t quite ready to give it away…yet.
Ruthless Women by Melanie Blake (available 3rd March) was a prize from Harper Collins. When ratings for the world’s most popular soap opera start to fall, the new owner of the network is determined to get the show back to #1 no matter what. For three women who work on the show, they’ve got their own issues to deal with until they are forced to bring down their rivals. Only the most ruthless will survive…
Snowy Mountains Daughter by Alissa Callen (also available 3rd February) came thanks to Harlequin. The small town of Bundilla is the only place Clancy has felt at home. For Heath, it was a place to escape from. But now he’s back home briefly – or so he thought until Clancy and a dog foil his plans.

What I read last week:
The Rules of Contagion by Adam Kucharski
What I’m reading at the moment:
If I Had Your Face by Frances Cha
What I’ll be reading next:
I really, really want to be able to find a copy of The Duke and I by Julia Quinn as I’m loving Bridgerton!
I have Adults on my list, but haven’t gotten to yet. Bridgerton was a lot of fun to watch.
I have paperbacks of the Bridgerton series on my Keeper shelves and am starting to think I should reread them even though I haven’t seen the shows. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
I’ve heard good things about If I Had Your Face. I saw it on a few “best books” lists at the end of last year. Have a great week!
YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING sounds great….I may add it to my TBR!
I bet Julia Quinn is making a fortune thanks to Bridgerton!
Wishing you a great reading week
Interesting mix this week. Enjoy.
I’ll have to see what you thought about Rules of Contagion.
