Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 8/3/21

A very busy week of storms and rain! Fortunately, I had two nice and dry surprises:

The Codebreakers by Alli Sinclair  (from Harlequin) is set in Brisbane during World War II. Ellie is working for Qantas, but her logic attracts the interest of Central Bureau, an intelligence organisation working alongside Bletchley Park. Ellie joins a group of top-secret female codebreakers, but there may be a traitor amongst them.

Something to Hide by Fleur McDonald (available 30th March from Allen & Unwin) finds Detective Dave in danger after his cover is blown investigating stock theft and murder. He returns to Barrabine and his family, but tensions are high as the risk is discussed.

To see other books received/bought this week across the world, drop by the Mailbox Monday blog for links to everyone’s mailbox goodies.

It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Book Date.

New Animal by Ella Baxter

  1. I reread the first Bridgerton book this week but have quite a few review copies to read before I can carry on with rereading the rest of the series. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  2. Oh I hope you’re enjoying the Bridgerton series! I actually just bought the first book in the series over the weekend from a second hand bookstore – I’m so excited to give it a try as I loved the show!
