Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 17/5/21

Another week, and another week too caught up with work to go shopping. Lucky that I had these two books arrive!

Sex, Lies and Question Time by Kate Ellis was a prize for my local MP and I thanks to Hardie Grant. Kate Ellis is a former MP who discusses life as a woman in Australian politics from the good to the bad and the lack of diversity.

Heaven by Keiko Kawakami (available 25th May) arrived from Pan Macmillan. Two high school students become friends due to their shared experience at the hands of bullies. But what happens when the bullies notice their relationship?

To see other books received/bought this week across the world, drop by the Mailbox Monday blog for links to everyone’s mailbox goodies.

It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Book Date.

What I read last week:

Black Buck by Mateo Askaripour

Now That I Saw You by Emma Batchelor

What I’m reading at the moment:

It’s in His Kiss by Julia Quinn

What I’ll be reading next:

How to Mend a Broken Heart by Rachael Johns

  1. These are all new books to me aside from the Julia Quinn! I can’t wait to read the Bridgerton series, hope you have a great week and enjoy all of your books!

  2. I mostly get books on Kindle or from Audible so leaving my couch to shop isn’t at all necessary. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  3. Heaven sounds like a good read. I hope to get to How to Mend a Broken Heart soon also. Enjoy your reads!

I enjoy reading your comments! Thanks for stopping by.
