Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 7/6/21

I think it was a productive week, I can’t really remember that much! So that called for some new books…

Early Morning Riser by Katherine Heiny finds Jane in love with Duncan. The problem is that most women in town have been in love with him too and have their own opinion on their relationship. One night changes everything though and Jane’s life is now entangled with many others.

Last Night by Mhairi McFarlane is about a group of friends. They may be in their thirties, but things haven’t changes. Eve is still in love with Ed, and the pub quiz is still sacred until one night their lives completely change.

Greetings From Trumpland by Zoe Daniel and Roscoe Whalan reviews the Trump presidency through the eyes of two ABC journalists. How did it happen? Why is he so popular? What does the future hold?

  1. Ooh ‘Who Gets to Be Smart’ sounds like a really important read, I’m definitely looking that one up! I also love how colourful the cover for ‘Early Morning Riser’ is! I hope you have a lovely start to the week and do drop by my Mailbox Monday if you have the time! – Juli @ A Universe in Words

  2. Nice looking books. I’m lowering the review stack this week. Then I really should try to lower TBR mountain. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
