Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 25/10/21

It was a busy week, full of crazy weather and ins and outs. Here’s two books I picked up along the way:

Hacking the Code of Life by Nessa Carey is about CRISPR, or gene editing. It discusses how gene editing can be used for good (e.g. preventing mosquitoes with Zika virus from breeding) and also the ethics involved.

Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert has Chloe writing a list to help her ‘get a life’. One of those is ‘do something bad’ but it’s not easy so she enlists Red to help. But he’s more than a man with tattoos and a motorbike…

To see other books received/bought this week across the world, drop by the Mailbox Monday blog for links to everyone’s mailbox goodies.

It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Book Date.

What I read last week:

The Swift and the Harrier by Minette Walters

Pizza Girl by Jean Kyoung Frazier

What I’m reading at the moment:

Sick Money by Billy Kenber

What I’ll be reading next:

No idea!

    1. Gene editing sounds quite fascinating. I’m not sure I would understand the book but would like to know more about it.

I enjoy reading your comments! Thanks for stopping by.
