Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 16/5/22

A really busy week as I was out or busy most days or nights (or both). I bought some comfort reads from authors I enjoy:

November 9 by Colleen Hoover finds Fallon meeting Ben on her last day in L.A. and giving him inspiration for his novel. Each year, they meet on the same day until Fallen starts to wonder if Ben has been telling the truth all these years?

Confess by Colleen Hoover finds Amber having lost all that is important to her. When she meets Owen, she decides to take a chance, but Owen’s secret could destroy her. Will his confession be more dangerous than the sin?

Again, Rachel by Marian Keyes sees the return of the main character from Rachel’s Holiday. Rachel has her life under control (except for buying expensive sneakers), but then a man reappears in her life and it starts to wobble.

Love Marriage by Monica Ali finds Yasmin with a lot to be grateful for – a great family, a good career and a charming fiancé. But as their wedding day draws closer, the couple’s families find that secrets are unravelling and they must ask themselves what they want in a relationship.

  1. Great lot of books and yay for comfort reads. I kind of want to read the Rachel book but I guess I should read the earlier book first.
