Mailbox Monday and What I’m Reading: 22/8/22

A very busy week, with a lot of traffic…I can’t even remember what the weather was! It was nice to have a relaxing weekend.

Girl Crush by Florence Given arrived thanks to Hachette. It’s about Eartha, a viral social media sensation. But her online and offline selves become more distanced and past trauma comes to the present. Which Eartha needs to go?

Careering by Daisy Buchanan is about Imogen, who dreams of being a magazine writer, but all that happens is internship after internship. Harri could be her savour, but Harri is also a victim of the industry she works for. Will work ever love the women back, or is it time to take charge?

The No-Show by Beth O’Leary is about Joseph Carter and the three women who are going to share Valentine’s Day with him. But where is he?

The Roommate by Rosie Danan has Clare in the predicament of sharing a house with a total stranger, Josh. She makes the mistake of looking Josh up on the internet and find out they agree on one thing – that could shatter her reputation…

  1. I had The No-Show for review but DNFd it. I could not seem to care about any of the women. I hope you like it better. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
