The last week was quite busy – Christmas coming and working a lot meant not a lot of time! I suspect that the postie must be just as busy, as I received no parcels either. I did buy just one book, Tim Ferguson’s Carry a Big Stick.
(Yes, that’s my budgie behind the book).
Tim Ferguson was one third of the Doug Anthony All Stars (or DAAS), which were very well known in Australia and beyond. He’s also stood for Parliament, written a fiction book (which is enormously funny and deserves to be reprinted) and is a comedy writer. Plus, he sings pretty well too! I’m looking forward to reading this; it should be one continuous laugh.
